The Takahashi Teegul Alt-azimuth Mount is also a RA/Dec mount!

Typically, telescopes for following stars and planets are mounted, to counteract the rotation of the earth, on a equatorial mount. Daytime panning of
terrestrial objects with a telescope is usually accomplished with a mount that has a horizontal axis and a vertical axis. This article presents a design idea for an easy and convienent combo mount that converts between one type and the other.

Julian Nott required a fast Canon EOS compatible lens for recording spectral emission lines in space, for his participation in the International Space Station ATV program. In addition to optimized infinity focus for point light sources, the back was painted black for reduced light scatter in the mirrorbox of the camera.
